Vacation 2003 in New Bern, NC

Well we vacationed this year in New Bern, NC with my parents. They invited us down to stay with them and bribed us by offering to pay for a Bed and Breakfast in historic New Bern for our 2nd Anniversary. We had a great time while we were there.

There are pictures on the pix page of our ventures. We went to Washington, DC before we headed down to NC to visit friends visiting in the area. I have pictures of their baby and some of DC’s surrounding buildings. Then the rest are in NC even pix of our B&B. Happy looking 🙂

Rich Dad, Poor Dad: What the Rich Teach Their Kids About Money

I just read this great book recently called “Rich Dad, Poor Dad: What the Rich Teach Their Kids About Money–That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not!” A long title, but a great read. It has totally changed the way I think about money and finances. You can see for yourself here: Link To Amazon

I’ve now read the second in the series and am half-way through the third. I would recommend reading this book as it has opened up my eyes to a whole new world. Check out the amazon page for more reviews and a look at 31 sample pages. And like one of the reviews states the author advocates tithing!

Leeching is bad

Due to peeps leeching my mp3s and causing my network connection to top out our networks router I have taken off my mp3 page. Maybe I will turn it back on as a member only function so you at least have to sign up before you can get mp3’s, but for now they are turned off. If you really want some mp3’s from me check out a great p2p program called giFT. You can get it from http://giFT.sourceforge.net It works great in linux and supposedly there is a windows port that you can get (or compile). Email me if you have any questions. Thanks,
